Once your homeschool child reaches the high school level, it is time to learn how to make a high school transcript for them. This is specially important if your child is planning to attend college. Fortunately, making this type of transcript isn’t difficult to fabricate as long as you are organized. What You’ll Need In order to make a homeschool high school transcript you will need:
Creating The Chart You will want to get started off with a simple chart that is divided into both divisions and columns. Divide the segmentations into the child’s age, grade level and the year in which they accomplished the work. Other selective information that is necessitated includes your student’s name, address, phone number, email address, birth date, and your name and how you may be contacted (i.e. the name of your homeschool, it is address, phone number and email address). For each school year, you will need to include the following information:
Finishing Up Once you have collected together all of the info that you need you will want to write your child’s name, address, Social Security number and “Homeschooled by (your name)” all over the top of the transcripts. You may then add the aforementioned chart with it is four subdivisions under this information. Make sure that you have your child’s cumulative GPA for all 4 years, the total number of credits earned, whether they earned a diploma and their graduation date at the bottom. At the bottom of the transcript you will want to list any awards that were won and test scores for the SAT or ACT if your child took it. In Conclusion… After you have done all of this work, make sure that you save a copy of your child’s transcripts for yourself. You will also want to print out various copies so that your child may include them with any apps that they fill out. |
